Hollywood and the Liberal Media Bias

Michael Richards landed in trouble when he used the word 'Nigger' during a comedy routine.
The hypocrites are at it again, and by hypocrites, I mean liberal celebrities and the national media, or should I be clearer by saying the national media with it's left leaning bias. With so many news outlets and the internet, nothing anyone says ever stays silent. But the main stream news wants to pick and choose what it wants to rail against and, by that I mean, give passes to everything liberal.
Mel Gibson whose Passion of the Christ incited some Jews to call him antisemitic because he dared to follow the plot of the bible and lay some blame for Jesus's crucifiction on the Jewish people of the time. The movie's outrage was overblown and if not for the Christian hating liberal media it would have been nearly nonexistent. So when a drunk Gibson yelled at police that Jews were the blame for all of the wars, the media and some of the Jewish community jumped at the chance to ostracize him.
Seinfeld's Michael Richards called some hecklers niggers at a night club. The black community and the guardians of political correctness couldn't stop tripping over themselves trying to castrate him in the news. It is a night club/comedy store. Do you think that, that was the first time the word nigger was ever used there? How many black comedians have used the word nigger? If it is so offensive shouldn't EVERYONE stop using it? In Dogma, Chris Rock said of God, "The Nigger still owes me ten bucks." If you don't already know, Liberals think it is okay to make fun of white Christians (although black Christians are given a pass), but if you're white, don't you dare use the word nigger.
Radio host Don Imus called, in jest, the Rutger's girls basketball team, "Nappy headed hos." He now has the black community mad at him as well as women's organizations. Sure, what he said was rude and wrong, but why does anyone spend the time worrying about it? I listened to a radio show yesterday where the DJ kept talking about Don Imus's slip of the tongue. He kept repeating what Imus said over and over again. Al Sharpton went on the air with Imus to demand that Imus be punished. Jesse Jackson lead a protest outside the studio. The Rutgers basketball players are now more famous than ever because they are constantly on the news answering questions and making statements. In other words, a lot of people are getting a lot of mileage out of a 2 second statement. Jackson and Sharpton live for these moments. They should thank Imus for the publicity.
Rosie ODonnell, the biggest liberal mouthpiece on television, insulted Chinese people when she imitated a Chinese newscaster by pretending to talk in Chinese about Danny Devito's drunken visit to The View. On another episode she said, "Radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam in a country like America." Yeah, those damn radical Christians and their roadside bombs make it so inconvenient for me to get to work everyday. So Rosie insults millions of Christians and she gets a free pass from the liberal news media. This is of course nothing new. A few years back, Alec Baldwin was on Conan OBrien's show and said that Republican Congressman Henry Hyde and his family should be shot.
So let me get this straight. Calling someone a bad word is cause for outrage, but insulting an entire religion or nationality or even calling for someone to be killed is okay? Yes folks, this is the current liberal media world of The United States of America. Hollywood and the mass news media outlets are so out of touch with middle America that they think they can filter the news to fit their moral agenda. But they do not have a clue.
The main news outlets are losing viewers and readers. The most popular cable news channel is Fox News. Conservative talk radio is very popular. Conservative blogs and internet sites are growing everyday. Liberal Hollywood and the main stream news media may think they have all the power and influence, but they are only fooling themselves. The news hungry have too many resources these days to just eat up whatever selective moral diet they want to dish out.
