Angelina Jolie: The Sexiest Actress Working Today

Angelina Jolie may have the habit of fallng in love with her co-stars, but audiences have the habit of falling in love with her.

With her huge paycheck for, and the success of, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Angelina Jolie is now one of Hollywood's most powerful, as well as one of the best looking, actresses working today. Her personal life may seem confusing and sometimes dark but on screen she is one in a million.

Jolie has many tattoos on her body and likes to express herself with blood. For her first marriage, she supposedly painted her husband's name, with her own blood, on the back of the white shirt she wore to their wedding. She and second husband Billy Bob Thornton told people that they carried vials of each other's blood around their necks. I remember them arriving at an awards show and announced to an interviewer that they had just had sex in the limo on the way over.

Angelina Jolie made her film debut in Lookin' to Get Out in 1982 when she was only 7 years old. The film starred her father John Voight. Angelina's real name is Angelina Jolie Voight. Jolie never became a child star. Her next film would not come until 1993 in Cyborg 2.

In 1995 she worked with her first husband Johnny Lee Miller in Hackers. In 1999 she worked with her second husband Thornton in Pushing Tin. No wonder the rumors about Jolie and her Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-star Brad Pitt surfaced so quickly. She apparently likes to marry her co-stars.

Jolie tends to make "guy" movies, like Gone in 60 Seconds and the Lara Croft films. Her big change of pace was Girl Interrupted in 1999 in which she won an Academy Award for best supporting actress. In Life or Something Like It, Jolie proved she could do a romantic Comedy playing a vulnerable blonde.

In 2004 Angelina Jolie was all over the place. She supplied the voice of a fish named Lola in Shark Tale. She starred in, the thriller, Taking lives. She added some much needed sex appeal to Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. She appeared in the HBO film The Fever and She also played Collin Farrell’s sexy mom in Alexander.

In 2005 she only had one movie out, Mr. and Mrs. Smith. It is in the genre that may very well prove to be her best, action/comedy. Like The Lara Croft films, Mr. and Mrs. Smith allows Jolie to be sexy, animated and funny.

In real life Angelina Jolie may have a dark side or like to date her co-stars or be a caring mother to her adopted children. I do not follow the tabloids, so other than reading the headlines in the grocery store checkout line, I will never know or care. What I do know is that she is one gorgeous woman on screen! Her next film, unfortunately, will not be out until next year when she co-stars with Matt Damon and Robert De Niro in The Good Shepherd.
